By now you are aware that I write for my favourite travel aggregator, Travelocity. And hopefully, you’ve read all of my many travel articles. I am part of a group of well-travelled individuals who are as obsessed with travel as I am. They call us the Gnational Gnomads.

I loved the Kongoji Temple in Kyoto! Everyone writes their wishes on colorful balls called “kukurizaru” and hangs them at the center of the site, and then when the strings of wishes are full, they're moved to the main temple, so the colors surround you. We only went in because we saw a steady steam of people going in and out of the main gate. The kids & I bopped around #PanamaCityBeach all week in #thenewkia 2019 Sorento. One morning we took this suv to get #donuts at @thomasdonut. Nestled in the Tramuntana Mountains on the island of Mallorca, Valdemossa is an ancient city filled with enigmatic cobblestone streets lined with cafes and boutique shops. And plants. Lots of plants ? – I sometimes wonder what it would have been like to live in a town like this hundreds of years ago. Today, walking these historic streets, it feels charming. Like a step back in time. But back then it wouldn't be so charming–it was normal! – A word of advice, though. Don't try driving your rental car down these skinny streets like I did.
