Your Ultimate Guide to Glamping in Bali. Why Arna Glamping Ceningan Should Be On Your List

If you are searching for the best glamping in Bali, but want something more luxurious than a typical tent stay, Arna Glamping on Nusa Ceningan is one of the most unique places you can stay in the Nusa Islands. Sitting high above the ocean and only minutes from Nusa Lembongan, this luxury glamping resort in Bali combines incredible views, boutique-style rooms, and one of the best sunset experiences you will find anywhere on the island.

Whether you are planning a romantic escape, a short island getaway, or simply looking for a hidden gem stay near Nusa Lembongan, this guide covers everything you need to know before booking Arna Glamping Ceningan.

How to Get to Nusa Ceningan From Bali

Getting to Arna Suites and Ocean Lounge is much easier than most people think. Obviously, I flew from Perth to Bali’s airport – Ngurah Rai Airport. From there, you need to get to Sanur Harbour. Then, you take a fast boat ride from Sanur to Nusa Lembongan. The ferry trip is short, scenic, and usually takes around 30 minutes.

Once you arrive in Nusa Lembongan, you walk across the famous Yellow Bridge, which connects Lembongan and Ceningan.

From there, the hotel can organise a transfer directly to the resort. Or Arna can actually arrange the entire journey for you, including the Rocky Fast Boats ticket, the shuttle from the harbour, and the transfer from the bridge to the hotel.

If you are searching for how to get to Nusa Ceningan, this is definitely the easiest and most stress-free option.

Luxury Glamping in Bali. Not What You Expect

When most people think about glamping in Bali, they imagine something simple. Arna Glamping is completely different.

The deluxe glamping suites are large, beautifully designed, and feel more like boutique villas than tents with their canvas exterior and bamboo structure.

You get a king bed with a beautiful floral and an animal towel welcome.

There is a modern bathroom with a hot water shower and Sensatia bathroom products.

A mini fridge and mini bar snacks. Loved the welcome cheesecake by the way, it was delicious!

A private outdoor space verandah with a swing, and stunning ocean views right from your room.

It gives off high-end hotel luxury vibes, but it’s literally a canvas tent. It’s peaceful and very private, which is exactly why it is becoming one of the most searched luxury glamping resorts near Nusa Lembongan.

I am the white noise queen, and each night after a stunning sunset spectacle, as I lie in bed the waves crashed against the dramatic clifftops. It felt thunderous and dramatic, but also lulled me to sleep in seconds like I haven’t been since a baby.

Did I wake in the middle of the night to a pounding of rain and terrible thunder? Yes. The prime clifftop position means the wind and the rain can be deafening, but the tent is fully secure and not a drop of water entered the room.

If you are looking for a romantic place to stay in Bali that feels unique but still comfortable, these ocean glamping suites are exactly what you want.

The Location. One of the Best Ocean View Stays in Nusa Ceningan

One of the biggest reasons Arna stands out is the location. The resort sits on top of a hill with breathtaking blue lagoon views, and an outdoor entertainment area that is hot property. The bamboo structure on our first night was packed, I guess because it’s also pretty close to the famous Blue Lagoon area of Nusa Ceningan.

During the day, the water looks almost unreal. At night, the island becomes quiet and peaceful, which makes it feel completely different from the busier areas of Bali. If you are searching for ocean view stays in Nusa Ceningan island or hidden gem resorts near Nusa Lembongan, this location is hard to beat.

The Sunset at Arna Glamping Is Something You Have to See

If there is one thing you must do when staying here, it is to sunset in the captivating infinity pool. Grab a drink, sit in the pool, and watch the sun go down over the ocean. The pool faces straight out to the stunning turquoise waters, so it feels like the sky and sea just blend together.

If you are searching for the best sunset spots in Nusa Lembongan and Ceningan or an infinity pool with ocean views in Bali, this is easily one of the most unforgettable experiences you can have on the island.

But be careful, golden hour is extremely popular, so get there earlier or book a poolside lounge in advance!

The Food. You Honestly Will Not Want to Leave the Resort

Another reason Arna Glamping is so special is the food. Breakfast is fresh and beautifully presented, and the ocean view makes it even better. Lunch is perfect if you are relaxing by the pool, and dinner feels more like a boutique restaurant than a hotel meal.

For one dinner, we tried the Australian premium rib eye and the beef pepperoni pizza. But for me, those crushed baby potatoes – OMG! If you love seafood, I heard great things about the pan seared Norwegian salmon.

Of course, you can’t go wrong with the cocktails of the month or even drinking water with views like this. But my mango daiquiri went down a treat with the best sunset of my life. Do not miss the sunset cocktails!

Other pool snacks we tried were the trio of dips with Turkish bread – that white bean hummus is special. And Ahmet indulged in several of the freshly squeezed juices. Plus out-of-this-world, delicious fried chicken.

Complimentary breakfast. There is an a-la-carte breakfast, but the best bit? You can order as much as you like from the menu. No limits.

Presentation could use a little work for the breakfast bowls in my picky opinion. And breakfast finished at 9:30 am, as we are late risers, I’d love to see it last a little longer.

Did I mention room service? These fish tacos were possibly the best thing I ate on the island!

If you are looking for romantic resorts near Nusa Lembongan with great food or luxury glamping in Bali with ocean view dining, this place really stands out.

Getting Around Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Lembongan

Most people explore the island by scooter. You can rent one directly through the hotel, which is easier but a little more expensive (around 150,000 IDR per day). If you rent directly on the island, you can usually find one for around 60,000 – 80,000 IDR per day.

Once you have a scooter, you can easily explore both Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Lembongan in one or two days. You can also hire buggies. There are no vehicles on the island that I could see, except hotel buggies. Because of this, riding a scooter felt much calmer and safer than back on mainland Bali. The roads are also so windy that you will not find your speed going much past 40km/hr. Find tips on driving in Bali here.

Things to Do Around Arna Glamping

If you are staying for a short trip, here is a simple plan that works really well.

Start the morning with a walk down to the dramatic cliffs near the resort for photos looking back at Arna. Then head to Blue Lagoon for one of the most famous viewpoints in Ceningan. After that, stop at a café like Seabreeze for brunch.

In the afternoon, you can try snorkelling, visit The Pontoon by Lago, or explore the island by scooter. Then head back to the resort in the evening for sunset in the infinity pool and dinner overlooking the ocean.

During our tropical adventure on Nusa Ceningan, we had one day. And we managed all this – A visit to Devil’s Tears, one of the island’s most famous viewpoints. Here, the waves crash dramatically against jagged cliffs, sending towering sprays of water into the air – an unforgettable display of nature’s power and one of the top things to do in Nusa Ceningan. It’s a perfect spot for photography, whether you’re capturing the raw ocean energy or the sunset light bouncing off the cliffs.

We also ducked into Dream Beach for a quick photo stop. Nearby, we had a local Warung lunch and a massage, before jumping back on our scooter.

After taking in the views, we stopped at Seabreeze Cafe, a charming cliffside eatery that offers sweeping panoramas of the turquoise waters below. With its relaxed vibe and oceanfront setting, it’s one of the best cafes with ocean views in Nusa Lembongan and Ceningan. Although I don’t recommend the Pina Colada, I do recommend you wear your swimsuit. We lived in our swimsuit on Ceningan.

We also checked out The Pontoon Cafe; although high winds prevented us from venturing out to the floating pontoon for drinks, the view from the cafe itself was still stunning, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a coffee while watching the surfers.

The Famous Heart-Shaped Blue Lagoon

The heart-shaped Blue Lagoon sits right on the south-west side of the island, very close to the cliff area near Arna.

Where exactly is it?

• It is on Nusa Ceningan, which is the small island connected to Nusa Lembongan by the Yellow Bridge.

• The official map address used on travel sites is Jl. Nusa Ceningan, Lembongan, Klungkung, Bali 80871.

• From the Yellow Bridge, it is only about a 10-minute scooter ride (around 2 km).

How to find the heart shape

The “heart-shaped” part is not obvious when you first arrive. You only see it properly when you stand on the cliff viewpoint above the lagoon, not from the water level.

Easy directions (from Arna / the bridge)

1. Cross the Yellow Bridge from Nusa Lembongan.

2. Turn right and follow the road across Nusa Ceningan.

3. Keep driving until the road ends at the cliffs.

4. Park the scooter and walk a few metres to the viewpoint.

The Best Photo Route Near Arna. Blue Lagoon + Cliff Viewpoints

If you are staying at Arna, one of the best things you can do is follow this short route. It only takes about 30 to 45 minutes, but the views are honestly some of the best in the Nusa Islands.

Stop 1. The Cliff Viewpoint That Looks Back at ARNA Suites & Ocean Lounge

Start by walking or riding just a minute or two from the resort. There is a small cliff area where you can look back and see the entire property sitting on the hill above the ocean. This is one of the best places to photograph the resort itself, especially in the morning when the light is soft, and the water looks bright blue. One of the best hidden photo spots in Bali, and recommended to us by our hotel pool staff.

Stop 2. Blue Lagoon (The Heart-Shaped Lagoon)

From Arna, it is only a few minutes by scooter. Follow the road towards the south-west side of Nusa Ceningan, and you will reach the famous Blue Lagoon viewpoint.

This is where you can see the heart shape. You will not really notice it from the road level. Walk right up to the edge of the cliffs and look down at the water. From the top, the lagoon forms a soft heart shape, which is why it has become one of the most photographed spots on the island.

Stop 3. Blue Lagoon Cliff Jump

Just beside the main viewpoint is the famous cliff jumping area. Even if you do not jump, it is worth walking over for the view. The colour of the water here is honestly unreal and looks different depending on the time of day.

Stop 4. Return to ARNA Suites & Ocean Lounge for Sunset

Head back to the resort about 30 minutes before sunset. This gives you time to get into the infinity pool and order a drink before the sun starts dropping.

The combination of the cliff walk, watching the surf breaks, the heart-shaped lagoon, and sunset at Arna works perfectly as a short afternoon itinerary.

If You Stay Longer. Here Are Even More Things to Do

If you are staying 3 to 5 nights, you can explore much more of the Nusa Islands.

You can take a day trip to Nusa Penida, which is famous for its dramatic beaches and crystal-clear water. You can also book snorkelling tours around Ceningan and Lembongan, where you may see sea turtles, dolphins, and manta rays. Or go diving at Manta Point. Another great idea is spending a full day exploring Nusa Lembongan slowly, stopping at quiet beaches, small cafés, and scenic viewpoints.

Longer stays also give you time to enjoy the resort properly. You can book a spa treatment, relax by the pool, or simply spend a full morning enjoying the oceanfront views from your deck.

How Much Do Rooms Cost at Arna Suites and Ocean Lounge in 2026?

Typical room prices at Arna are actually more affordable than most people expect for a luxury glamping stay in Bali. As of 2026, listings for Arna Suites and Ocean Lounge show standard ocean-view suites usually starting from around AU$140 to AU$220 per night, depending on the season, with promotional dates sometimes appearing lower.

Mid-season dates on booking platforms often sit in the AU$160-AU$200 range, while peak travel periods like July, August, and school holidays can push prices higher, especially for the larger Blue Lagoon Suites.

Check the discounted price for your dates here.

Compared to other boutique ocean-view stays in Nusa Ceningan, this puts Arna in the mid-to-upper range price-wise, but still extremely good value considering the infinity pool, sunset views, and luxury accommodation.
