The hotel is very family-focused, with a small games area in the reception that kept Mia and Caius entertained while we checked in. Our hotel was in Bad Cannstatt, home to Europe’s second-largest mineral spa region. It already felt like we had stumbled into a wellness pocket of Stuttgart.
We chose Das Leuze Mineral Spa because it is one of the most family-friendly options for visiting Stuttgart with kids.
A short tram ride to Mercedesstrasse and a quick walk brought us there. Easy in theory, slightly chaotic in practice.

But the gardens were my favourite part. Calm, colourful, and beautifully designed. Even Mia and Caius slowed down here, which is rare.

There are over 160 vehicles, and the storytelling is surprisingly engaging even if you are not a car person.
But I will be honest. With Mia and Caius, this one was intense.
They loved the first part, then turned into competitive floor runners hunting interactive displays. We definitely used phones as a survival tool at some point.
It is brilliant, but best enjoyed with slightly older kids or a shorter visit if you are doing Stuttgart with kids.

Mia and Caius were instantly entertained, which gave me time to breathe.

It is easy to reach via Porscheplatz station, and the building itself is striking, almost floating above the ground.
